Aluminum Flywheel Friction Kit

This is a replacement friction surface for your ZZP or Fidanza F35 flywheel.

Includes:

  • friction surface
  • bolts
  • nuts

1050 heat treated steel friction plate:

Constructed of incredibly strong 1050 steel, all plates are milled to meet our high specification and are pickled and oiled to deliver superior longevity and disc engagement. With these replaceable plates there is no need to resurface or replace the entire flywheel when changing or replacing the clutch: saving both time and money.

Military spec fasteners:

Military grade aerospace fasteners featuring mechanical, self locking nuts with built in washers for reliability and strength. Friction plate hardware aids in pulling excess heat away from the clutch face to increase longevity and performance. All hardware locations are engineered for optimal clamp load and function.

Installation:

The fastener torque is 5 foot pounds or 60 inch pounds. Since the fasteners are self locking what we do here is use an 18v battery drill with the clutch sent at 20 - 24#. As soon as the clutch slips they will be tight enough. Once you think the screws are all tightened that you pick up the flywheel and give it a good shake. If any of the screws were missed you will hear them rattle a bit and you can tighten them.
