Upgrade your Cobalt's charging and electrical system with our ZZP Big 3 wire kit. This kit upgrades your stock starter to alternator wire and adds 2 grounds to the system. Once started your Cobalt relies on a single small 8 gauge wire to transmit the power from the main 12 volt system to the alternator to power all of the electronic components in and on the vehicle. With this upgraded 4 gauge wire you are now allowing the electrical system to work at full capacity.

As these cars get older the stock grounds get weak and brittle so upgrading and adding grounds is always a plus. While your stock wiring may "look" fine, it can have internal corrosion leading to lots of small (or large) issues. Often times if you're chasing an odd electrical issue poor grounds are commonly an issue on cars of this age. 

February 2025 update: We have now modified the LSJ variant to fit Saturn Ion Redline. Ion Redline specifically will mount the wire from the transmission to the back mounting bolt for the ABS module, new M8 nut included.

Fits: 2005-2007 Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0 LSJ, 2008-2010 Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0 LNF. May fit HHR SS, and 2.2/2.4 Cobalt, however has not been tested.
