ZZP LTG 2.0 4340 Connecting Rods

This is a set of 4 ZZP 4340 forged connecting rods for your 2.0L LTG. While the LTG has been a great performing engine in stock form, as we continue to push these engines farther a forged rod solution is needed. Stock rods are safe up to around 350-400wtq, however if you're replacing the pistons (which is THE weakpoint of the LTG) it's a great idea to do forged rods at the same time. These rods are made with forged 4340 steel and are a traditional H-beam style, made to withstand large amounts of power and RPM.

All of our rods are magnafluxed, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and sonic tested to ensure they provide the strength required for high horsepower applications. Our exclusive “no twist” machining processes guarantees the most accurate pin end to big end parallelism in the industry. We weight match all of our sets of rods to +/-1.5 grams to make balancing easier. Silicon bronze bushings are installed for use with floating pins. Bolt lube and torque specifications are included. These are PRE-LUBED.  
From the factory, tangs are installed facing exhaust side, so we do the same. The rods are symmetrical, so it does not matter which side they face.

These will NOT work with the stock OEM pistons, you must use them with the ZZP or JE pistons.

Torque spec is 55 ft-lbs with ARP lube.
